Birthdays and Best Friends
So...Kalyan finally wins. Here is the live journal of the ever exciting life of me. I hope you enjoy. I don't know how personal it will get seeing as though there is a lot that I don't share with people...but we shall see. I may get bold.
Well let's get started shall we? Today: I'm getting pretty excited. Tomorrow is my birthday so I'm just finalizing plans for dinner and a party tomorrow night. It's hard for my birthdays because living originally in San Jose and having it in the middle of summer, it's hard to have something when a lot of people are around. But this year, the majority of my SD friends are still here for the summer...as am I, so I can finally have a birthday with a good number of my college friends. Then I hop back home to see the family and high school crew...fun stuff!
Another point of excitement for today...one of my good friends who graduated over a year ago just came back from Americorps and is having lunch with Susan and I. I'm so excited to see her again and we definately have a ton of catching up to do. I feel a bit bad cause I got a graduation card from her when I'm really going to be graduating next year with two majors. I was scheduled to graduate this last June before she left, but changed my mind many months ago. It goes to show you how long it's been since I've talked to her...or a lot of my friends who aren't in immediate contact with me. I need to work on that a bit. I tend to get so wrapped up in what I'm doing in college that I lose touch and slowly become distant. Something to work on I guess. Let this be the summer that I rekindle those connections! Ok..something else to work towards now.
